Career Peers

UCS CAREER PEERS

UCS Career Peers provide students with an important role in promoting University Career Services to the campus community and in serving as a liaison between students and UCS. 

WHAT WE DO

Each year, a select group of students receive training the services offered by University Career Services. These Career Peers then provide outreach to the campus community to make other students aware of the resources available and participate in practice interviews and resume critique sessions. By working at UCS events such as Career Fairs, Networking Nights and Open House programs, Career Peers are able to interact with both students and employers.

WORKSHOPS

Student Ambassadors conduct are trained to conduct a variety of workshops for residence halls and other student organizations.  If you would like a Career Peer to present to your group, please contact them at ambassadors@unc.edu.
