all, my name is Jessica Maldonado, and I am beyond thrilled to serve as
Director for this year! I am a junior double majoring in Psychology and
Hispanic Linguistics and am considering an Italian minor as well. I plan on
pursuing a career in Higher Education, and my experience in the Career Peer
program has been a huge factor in that decision. This is now my third year with

Suzanne, and I'm a senior from Concord, NC. My major is Psychology and I have
minors in Spanish and Social & Economic Justice. I am excited to be heading
a new Career Peer committee on Para-Professional Counseling, which will focus
on the counseling outreach that the peers do. Counseling has always been my
favorite part of being a Career Peer, and I hope that our committee will work
with resume critiquing, mock interviews, and much more this year. I'm excited
to reach out to our fellow students on campus!

loved working with UCS last year and am looking forward to being on the

Hello all! My name is Eliza Salkeld and I’m from Raleigh, NC. I am a junior working towards a double major in Public Policy and Management & Society. I have successfully utilized UCS for the past two years, but this will be my first year as a Career Peer, and I am very excited! In the coming year I hope to help the Carolina student population gain access and awareness of UCS’s resources and opportunities.
