Purpose – Many students need to earn money during the summer, Non-Profit and Arts internships often are unpaid. In response to this need, University Career Services is offering several stipends up to $1000 to support students who perform summer internships with Non-Profit or Arts organizations for which they are receiving no pay.
Who may apply – All rising seniors, those who will be graduating in December 2013 or May/August 2014, who have a serious interest in pursuing careers in Non-Profits or the Arts are encouraged to apply.
How to apply – To apply please submit the following:
Stipends will be awarded to students based on the strength of their qualifications and proposals. Proposals will be judged on their educational value and feasibility. UCS resources are available to assist students in locating appropriate internship sites.
Important Dates – All applications must be received no later than 5pm on Friday, April 5, 2013. Students will be notified of the status of their application no latter then Friday, April 12th 2013. All materials must be submitted electronically.
