Academic Credit
If you are seeking academic credit for your internship,
you probably fall into one of three categories.
- You are interested in fulfilling your Experiential Education requirement
for graduation. For this option, please contact the Director
of Experiential Education.
- You were offered an internship and want to see if you can earn
academic credit through your academic/major department. In some
cases, academic departments may have their own internship course for
students looking to receive academic credit for an internship. Please
contact your academic department directly.
The following is a sample list of departments that may offer academic
credit for internship. This is not a complete list and is subject to
change at any time.
- Business Administration
- Communication Studies
- Journalism & Mass Communication
- Management & Society
- Public Policy
- Public Health
- Women's Studies
- The organization you wish to apply or intern with is requiring
that you receive academic credit in order to participate in the
internship and your department does not offer internship credit. For
this option, please make an appointment
with the UCS Internship Coordinator.
For more information please review the Office
of Undergraduate Curricula Internship FAQ or contact the UCS
Internship Coordinator.
