University Career Services advises students and provide resources on the types of planning and preparation required to help students meet their career goals. This includes internships, job seeking, labor market resources, individual career counseling, workshops, and employer contacts via career fairs, panels, computer technology, and presentations. The
role of UCS is to act as an educational agency, rather than an employment
agency. We give students the tools, resources, and opportunities
to make
sound career decisions, plan for their career, and find internships
and jobs. Ultimately the student is responsible for preparing for
his or
her career goals and for finding the position. Feel free to contact us at any time with your questions
or concerns. You may call our Director, Marcia
Harris, at 919-962-4481
or send
us an email at ucs@unc.edu. Please
also review our list of career advisors on the About
UCS: Staff page. Questions, comments? Email us
