Internship listing site with more than 3,000 organizations offering internships for college and law students.

The "Internships Series Online" at this site provides organization and contact information in a categorized manner that allows students to seek opportunities in areas like international affairs, green, media/advertising, congressional/policy, museums, sports and many others.

InterviewStream allows you to conduct practice interviews with pre-recorded questions and webcam recorded answers.

Once you have created an account online, you can conduct an interview from any web-accessible computer with a webcam. Your interview answers are saved in your InterviewStream account where you can review them alone or email them to a UCS counselor to discuss in conjunction with a counselor appointment.

NC Tower provides graphs and tables on in-depth information on employment rates, wages, and ongoing higher education enrollment of graduates from the Norh Carolina Community College System and from the University of North Carolina system schools. NC Tower includes data on former UNC students who are working in roughly 90% of all jobs in North Carolina.

Note: The database EXCLUDES information for graduates who:

  • are self-employed
  • work for the federal government including the military, or
  • work outside of North Carolina

Optimal Resume allows you to create an effective resume and provides samples, word banks and a variety of templates to assist.Optimal Resume is a comprehensive, web-based application that helps job seekers create, present, and manage resumes. Each user can create and manage an unlimited number of resumes in their account, and the software includes spell checking, action words, and format assistance - all on a 24/7 basis.

Job seekers can also reference the newly integrated O*NET occupational database to create targeted resumes for specific employers and occupations. It's easy to search careers by job family, high growth industry, or STEM discipline and view key job information such as required tasks, knowledge, skills, abilities, work activities, and more.

Reppler is a social media monitoring service designed to help users manage their online image across different social networks. It does so by showing users how they are perceived across social networks, by telling users the makeup of their social network connections, and by identifying any potential issues and risks. Reppler’s social media monitoring service is free and supports various social networking services, like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
