FAQ:

Inclusive Workplace Leadership Series - September 13th

An inclusive workplace is one where everyone is valued, respected, and treated fairly. These workplaces breed trust, engagement, and high-performance…which usually means high-rewards and high-compensation! University Career Services put together a series of workshops to help you understand how companies utilize diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices to accomplish this; and to also learn how to evaluate a company’s DEI practices and values. Top innovative organizations that recruit at UNC Chapel Hill and elsewhere are seeking students with a DEI Mindset as they enter the workforce through internships, full-time jobs, and even entrepreneurship. These organizations are increasingly embracing DEI values and practices; as well as a Stakeholder Capitalism approach to business – in effect, a people, planet, profit philosophy. Regardless of your race, gender, sexual orientation, social class, religion, etc. – where you decide to work and the type of workplace you thrive in can have a huge impact on your career trajectory, well-being, and financial security. Don’t miss the virtual workshops below!
