Styled for Success

Styled for Success provides funding for the purchase of professional interview attire (the equivalent of one outfit) to UNC students. Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students who are currently receiving need-based financial aid, and are actively involved in an internship or job search, are eligible to apply.

Application will go live in Fall 2022.

Summer Internship Grant

Provides funding to help students cover the expense of travel, housing, and meals during an internship lasting at least four weeks. Undergraduate students who receive need-based financial aid, and who will be returning to UNC in the Fall semester, are eligible to apply after an internship offer has been confirmed. Amounts range from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand, depending on an applicant's proposed budget and level of financial need.

Marcia Harris Travel Grant

Provides an undergraduate student with a stipend to pursue their career aspirations by giving them funds to travel domestically for an internship or job interview, or professional conference. These funds are specifically designated for travel; including airfare and lodging to and from Chapel Hill or to and from the recipients’ U.S. home. The award amount is from $100 to $1,500 based on need, as outlined in the student application. Applicants must be currently enrolled in good standing as a full-time upper-class undergraduate of an undergraduate program at UNC-ChapelHill in the term immediately preceding the receipt of the award.
