NYT says Triangle is "Axis of Cool"
The New York Times Magazine declares the Triangle to be an "Axis of Cool" and shines a light on everything from Only Burger to Merge Records to LocoPops and the Independent Weekly. Great to see the area get recognition. But, the list needs more Chapel Hill/Carrboro spots!
Peace Corps and Department of State team up for energy
Both the Peace Corps and the Department of State keep office hours at UCS (want an appointment with one of them? Call 919/962-6507). So, it was interesting to read about a new collaboration between the two organizations.
