Resources for Recent Grads

Recent grads and other alumni - welcome back to the UNC Career Center. We saved a seat for you.

Recent grads who have been awarded a degree from an eligible program at UNC-Chapel Hill can continue accessing UNC Career Center services for free up to six months after graduation.

HEELS ENGAGE NETWORK

We encourage recent grads to join the Heels Engage network, UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus-wide engagement platform. You can connect with alumni and other UNC community members, including students, faculty & staff, and friends of the community who support Carolina students.

ALUMNI SERVICES

At any point after graduation, alumni may obtain career assistance by contacting Carolina Alumni’s Alumni Career Services. New grad members of Carolina Alumni members receive unlimited career coaching sessions for three years following graduation.

  • Career Coaching – Whether you need help with resumes, interviews, promotions or work-life balance, Carolina Alumni’s one-on-one coaching sessions are here to elevate your career. Carolina Alumni members receive a complimentary career coaching session annually – a perk valued at $150. All majors, industries and career levels are supported.
  • Official LinkedIn group: Join a vibrant community of more than 13,000 Carolina alumni in the official LinkedIn group to expand your network. University records verify each individual to ensure they are Carolina alumni before granting access.
  • Alumni Directory: Stay connected with fellow alumni. Our directory features contact details for more than 330,000 Carolina alumni and friends, searchable by industry, job title and location. Carolina Alumni member exclusive.
