Engage with Students

University Career Services hosts various career events annually, employing On-Campus Recruitment (OCR) strategies to foster connections with our students. Moreover, we offer support through various non-OCR initiatives, such as mock interviews, job shadows, career treks, Industry Snack and Chats, panels, and more designed to facilitate interaction between organizations and students. These events are open to all UNC-CH undergraduate and graduate students, except those enrolled in MBA, Law, Medical, and Dental schools. For questions about which events suit your organization, please get in touch with Jamel Mallory at [email protected].

Career Fairs

Our institution hosts a variety of career fair offerings each semester for undergraduate and grad students from all majors and academic standings. University Career Services offers events and opportunities to students and employers to prepare and register for upcoming career fairs. For more information about our specific fairs, please follow this link.

Please contact the Assistant Director of External Relations, Jamel Mallory at [email protected] to discuss if this event is right for you. If you have general questions about the fair, please email Events and Marketing Coordinator, Elyse Molewyk at [email protected].

Mock Interview Program

Engage in mock interviews with UNC students to provide constructive feedback. These sessions gather employers from various industries and sizes to simulate interviews with students, where you'll pose standard questions and offer valuable feedback for their future improvement. Your interview room will be located at Hanes Hall in the UCS office.

For more information, contact Assistant Director of External Relations, Jamel Mallory, at [email protected].

Industry Snack & Chats

This Industry Snack & Chat series is an in-person event facilitating opportunities for students to drop in for career exploration or recruitment-oriented conversations. A great way to raise brand awareness and reach students about your job and internship opportunities. This is a low-pressure opportunity to answer questions and share information about your company, industry, career opportunities, etc. UCS will provide the table and room space for you to participate in this event.  We ask that companies to bring swag, table skirts, and snacks for students visiting their tables.
