Career Treks
Career Treks are company site visits that provide an opportunity for students to explore industries and job functions, while growing their professional network for future career opportunities. Students can learn about entry-level roles within a company, network with recruiters and alumni, explore company facilities of all industries and sizes, and uncover what next steps they should take in their career preparation journey.
University Career Services partners with Trek Organizers, faculty, staff, and student organizations to coordinate career treks to companies in the Research Triangle Park (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill), and beyond.
Joining the UNC Career Trek Partnership Program
We are seeking company partners, alumni, and employers who are willing to host UNC Trek Organizers to their site. Through the UNC Career Trek Partnership Program, you will be able to work with career professionals across the institution to serve as a Trek Site Host and introduce UNC students to your industry.
