UNC Career Center is hosting two special networking events to help celebrate University Research Week and the incredible people behind the research efforts at Carolina.
University Research Week Mixer Oct. 21, 2025

📍 LOCATION: Hanes Hall, Room 239 @UNC-Chapel Hill
This free networking event brings together students, faculty, and professionals from a wide variety of industries who engage in research as part of their work.
Students will have the opportunity to explore research pathways and hear from researchers in a variety of industries about their own career pathways. Students across all academic disciplines will be able to to network with employers about potential research opportunities and internships, and meet their peers in the vibrant research community at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Alumni and employers can inspire the next generation of Tar Heel professionals who are curious, analytical, and eager to make an impact.

Educators everywhere play a key role in shaping their students’ curiosity and research skills. UNC Career Center is closing out University Research Week with a mixer celebrating the next generation of educators.
At this free networking event, students exploring careers in education and related fields will have the opportunity to hear from professionals who have navigated their own ways in the education sector or transitioned to roles in other industries.
Professionals will share their their career journeys and insights with students while also connecting with faculty members and learn more about the academic programs and initiatives offered through UNC’s School of Education.
