All alumni who have been awarded a degree from an eligible program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill may utilize University Career Services for free until six months after graduation. After six months you may obtain career assistance by contacting Alumni Career Services at the General Alumni Association.
You can also become an Alumni Advisor. As an alumnus you can serve as a career resource for other Tar Heels by joining the Alumni Advisors Network, hosted by the General Alumni Association. Current UNC students stand to gain much wisdom, insight and experience from professionals like you. You do not need to be a GAA member to join this network of advisors. Whether you are discussing your career with a student during a quick telephone call or arranging to have a student shadow you, there are many ways that you can help fellow Tar Heels with their career development.
For more information about the Alumni Advisors Network, please contact the General Alumni Association directly.
