UNC Career Center has two Iris professional headshot booths on campus. No appointments necessary.
- Hanes Hall 2nd floor Resource Room (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
- Health Sciences Library 1st floor by Columbia St. entrance (during Library hours)
Tips for getting a great headshot:
- Choose attire that you would wear to meet a potential employer in-person. Solid colors and subtle patterns are best.
- Avoid a plain white/cream shirt, to avoid blending into the background.
- Keep accessories simple and non-distracting.
- Keep your style true to your personal brand!
- Relax and take your time. You can review three photos at once and use the booth’s easy editing tools. Retake your photo if you need.
