The Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) of Shanghai High School International Division has built strong connections with UNC Career Center as part of its commitment to recruiting globally minded educators. In October 2024 and 2025, the FAO team visited UNC-Chapel Hill and participated in multiple on-campus recruitment events, strengthening partnerships and expanding opportunities for UNC students interested in international education.
Looking ahead, SHSID plans to continue its collaboration with UNC Career Center by providing dedicated recruitment pathways for students and alumni passionate about teaching and global education.
Who is Shanghai High School International Division?

Shanghai High School, established in 1865, is one of the most prestigious and historically significant schools in China. The Shanghai High School International Division (SHSID) was founded in 1993 and served 18 students. Since then, it has grown into an international school serving approximately 3,500 students, from more than 60 countries & regions, in Grades 1–12. They continue to expand their global footprint with a future multi-campus structure designed to further support innovation, research-driven education, and cross-cultural learning.
