Sehdia Mansaray was born and raised in Raleigh, NC, but has called many places home. Her multi-cultural background (Mende/ West African) has inspired her travel and professional interests – including her tenure as an Agroforestry Specialist with Peace Corps Senegal. She has held project management, applied research, and project development roles that have all supported individuals or communities in achieving their set goals. Sehdia enjoys growing plants, binging detective shows, karaoke, and is an on-again-off-again guitarist. She is currently working towards her PhD in Anthropology.
