Elyse Molewyk

Elyse Molewyk is the Job Location and Development (JLD) Coordinator for the UNC Career Center. This role focuses on connecting UNC students with off-campus employers for paid, part-time jobs that align with their long-term career goals. It involves developing off-campus employer relationships, giving presentations to student groups, and creating strategies to increase student participation in meaningful employment opportunities.

Elyse is a Midwestern native to Chicago, Illinois, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wheaton College in May 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys spending a ridiculous amount of time in indie bookstores, drawing, and watching Marvel movies.

Focus Areas:

  • Designs, administers, and promotes the JLD Program to students seeking paid off-campus part-time jobs that align with their academic majors and career goals.
  • Encourages student participation in the UNC Career Center Professional Internship Experience Certificate and provides analysis and reporting on the part-time job market.
  • Manages a portfolio of supervisors for both on-campus and off-campus part-time student employees, ensuring the development of NACE Career Readiness Competencies.
