Born and raised in Seattle, Hannah Nichols is currently working towards her Master’s degree at Hussman in Strategic Communication. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Photography from Bard College, where she developed a sharp eye for visual storytelling.

Driven by a desire to apply these skills to community impact, Hannah recently completed two years of Peace Corps service in Senegal. Serving as a health volunteer, she designed and implemented local campaigns, gaining invaluable, firsthand experience in intercultural communication and public advocacy. She is also fluent in French and Pulaar, skills she developed and honed during her service. Now transitioning to Chapel Hill, Hannah looks forward to bridging the gap between visual artistry and strategic messaging to build narrative-driven communications that champion social good.

Outside of her studies, you can find Hannah playing soccer or out line dancing.
