Jamir is from Brooklyn, New York and is an Exercise Science and Sport Science major and a member of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Class of 2029. He has experience in serving in his community at home–at his community service center, Jamir worked as a volunteer and also led workshops as an intern. He also recently participated in a national program helping high-school students from low-income communities prepare for post-secondary institutions. In his free time, Jamir enjoys reading books, listening to music, and playing sports with friends and family.
