Kaitlyn is from Durham, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Counselor Education from East Carolina University. Kaitlyn began her time in University Career Services in 2023 as a Recruitment Coordinator and is now an Assistant Director of Career Education. Before coming to UCS, Kaitlyn worked as an Academic Advisor and First Year Seminar Instructor at ECU. In these roles, she assisted students in mapping their academic journey and in developing skills for their success and well-being. She is passionate about understanding the individual needs to each person she meets with to best assist them in achieving their goals.

In her free time, you can likely find Kaitlyn on a bike in some capacity. She enjoys mountain, gravel, and road cycling and races competitively in those areas. Outside of competing, she enjoys using cycling as a means to travel and explore new places. Off the bike, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking with her dog Leia, or playing with her cat Kylo.
