First Destination Survey

FirstDestination2019_web

Annually, UNC Career Center asks graduating students to complete the First Destination Survey (FDS), and share their post-graduation outcomes. This information is shared across campus, and helps us continue to evolve programs to ensure Tar Heels are career ready.

FDS measures the following post-graduation outcomes:

  • Types of employment (Full-Time, Part-Time, Military Service, Volunteer)
  • Continuing education
  • Still seeking either employment or further education
  • Starting salary for those employed full time
