Out For Work - A national Internship and Job posting board site dedicated to LGBTQA college students. Along with job and internship listings this site includes information concerning regional and national conferences and networking opportunities
Gay Yellow Pages - A unique resource that list national and international LGBTQA friendly businesses. A great networking and research tool that includes LGBTQ business associations and chambers of commerce.
Transgender at Work - Includes resources regarding organizational benefits and a list of Fortune 500 Companies with formal statements promising to not discriminate against transgendered or gender-variant employees. This site also provides guidance on navigating issues involving transitioning at work.

Raleigh Business and Professional Guild - The mission of this organization is to establish and nurture a network of business and professional resources; encourage fellowship and support among businesses; professionals, and charitable pursuits. A great opportunity for students to network with Triangle business and non- profit leaders.
Equality North Carolina - Equality NC is dedicated to securing equal rights and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) North Carolinians. This site includes links to many state and national resources as well as update news and announcements for the NC LGBTQA community
UNC Resources
UNC LGBT Center - The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Center works to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for UNC-Chapel Hill community members of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expression. This site includes an extensive guide of local, state and national LGBTQA resources.
Checked Out - Support, encourages, and creates spaces for learning and growth around diversity issues both in SILS and the field of Library and Information Science. Checked Out emphasizes how students can all take the messages of openness and inclusion and respect that students learn at SILS into their careers--to create work and service environments that are inclusive and free of prejudice against sexual orientation, race, age, disability or gender identity.
